Scale
Fudge Base
- 3 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
- 1/2 cup sugar cookie mix
- Pinch of salt
Decoration
- 1/4 cup festive sprinkles (plus extra for topping)
Instructions
- Prepare Baking Dish. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal of the fudge once set.
- Melt Ingredients. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir continuously until all ingredients are melted and the mixture is smooth, taking care not to overheat.
- Add Flavorings and Mix-Ins. Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in vanilla extract, almond extract if using, sugar cookie mix, festive sprinkles, and a pinch of salt until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Pour into Dish. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish. Smooth the top evenly with a spatula to create a level surface.
- Decorate. Sprinkle extra festive sprinkles over the surface for a colorful and celebratory finish.
- Chill. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until the fudge is fully set and firm to the touch.
- Serve. Use the parchment paper overhang to lift the fudge out of the dish. Cut into approximately 25 squares and serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- For extra texture, substitute sugar cookie mix with crushed shortbread cookies.
- Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week to maintain freshness.
- For a festive holiday touch, use red and green sprinkles.
