Main Ingredients
- 1 large cucumber, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 1/2 cup honey or granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- 1 cup ice cubes
Optional Garnishes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
- Thin cucumber slices for garnish
- Lemon rounds for garnish
Instructions
- Blend Cucumber and Lemon Juice: Add the peeled and chopped cucumber along with the freshly squeezed lemon juice into a blender. Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Strain the Mixture: Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher. Use a spoon to press the pulp and extract as much liquid as possible, leaving behind the solids.
- Add Sweetener: Stir in the honey or granulated sugar into the strained mixture until fully dissolved, adjusting the sweetness to your preference.
- Mix with Water: Pour in the cold water and stir thoroughly to combine all ingredients evenly. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness if necessary.
- Chill and Serve: Add ice cubes to the pitcher and refrigerate the lemonade for at least 30 minutes before serving to enhance the refreshing taste.
- Garnish and Enjoy: Serve the cucumber lemonade chilled, garnished with fresh mint leaves, thin cucumber slices, or lemon rounds as desired for an attractive presentation and added flavor.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a small handful of fresh mint leaves to the blender along with the cucumber before blending.
- To create a fizzy version of this drink, substitute still cold water with sparkling water.
