- Pomegranate arils (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Make Pomegranate Syrup: Combine 1 cup pomegranate juice and 1 cup granulated sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool to room temperature.
- Mix Cocktail: In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 ounces of the cooled pomegranate syrup with 3 ounces of tequila reposado and 1 ounce of freshly squeezed lime juice. Add 1 cup of ice to the shaker.
- Shake: Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until the mixture is well chilled and slightly diluted.
