Description

Indulge in the delightful flavors of a classic banana split in this easy-to-make no-bake dessert. Layers of graham cracker crust, creamy cheesecake filling, tropical fruits, whipped topping, and nuts come together for a sweet treat that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Graham Cracker Crust:

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Cheesecake Filling:

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar

Fruit Layers:

  • 1 can (8 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 34 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup chopped strawberries

Toppings:

  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 jar (12 oz) maraschino cherries, drained
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • Chocolate syrup for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Graham Cracker Crust: In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust.
  2. Cheesecake Filling: In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and creamy. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust.
  3. Fruit Layers: Layer the sliced bananas over the cream cheese layer, followed by the crushed pineapple and chopped strawberries.
  4. Topping: Spread the whipped topping over the fruit layers, smoothing it out with a spatula. Sprinkle chopped nuts evenly over the top, then garnish with maraschino cherries.
  5. Finishing Touch: Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top just before serving. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.

Notes

  • For best results, slice bananas just before layering to prevent browning.
  • You can swap out strawberries for other berries or add mini chocolate chips for extra sweetness.
