Instructions
- Mix Pudding: In a mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of cold milk and the vanilla pudding mix for about 2 minutes until combined and thickened.
- Add Whipped Topping: If desired for enhanced creaminess, gently fold 1 cup of whipped topping into the pudding mixture until smooth.
- Prepare Jello: In a separate bowl, dissolve 1 package of Jello in 1 cup of hot water, stirring until completely dissolved.
- Cool Jello: Allow the Jello mixture to cool slightly, then stir in 1 cup of cold water to bring the temperature down.
- Layer Mixtures: For a layered effect, pour a spoonful of pudding mixture into each popsicle mold followed by a few tablespoons of cooled Jello mixture, alternating layers until molds are filled.
- Insert Sticks: Insert popsicle sticks into molds if they do not come with built-in sticks.
- Freeze: Place molds in the freezer and allow to freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely set.
- Remove Pops: To release, briefly run warm water over the outside of the molds and gently pull on the sticks to remove the frozen pops.
Notes
- For best texture, ensure pudding mixture is thick before layering.
- Use any flavor of Jello to customize the pops to your preference.
- Whipped topping is optional but adds extra creaminess.
- Make sure to freeze molds thoroughly to avoid melting when removing pops.
- Running warm water over the molds will help loosen the frozen pops without melting them.
