Description

Jello Pudding Pops are incredibly creamy and refreshing frozen treats perfect for all ages. Combining smooth vanilla pudding with vibrant flavored Jello creates a delightful layered dessert that is easy to prepare and perfect for warm weather or anytime you want a sweet frozen snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Pudding Mixture

  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup whipped topping (optional for creaminess)

Jello Mixture

  • 1 package (3 oz) Jello (any flavor)
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 cup cold water

Additional

  • Popsicle molds
  • Sticks (if not included with the molds)

Instructions

  1. Mix Pudding: In a mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of cold milk and the vanilla pudding mix for about 2 minutes until combined and thickened.
  2. Add Whipped Topping: If desired for enhanced creaminess, gently fold 1 cup of whipped topping into the pudding mixture until smooth.
  3. Prepare Jello: In a separate bowl, dissolve 1 package of Jello in 1 cup of hot water, stirring until completely dissolved.
  4. Cool Jello: Allow the Jello mixture to cool slightly, then stir in 1 cup of cold water to bring the temperature down.
  5. Layer Mixtures: For a layered effect, pour a spoonful of pudding mixture into each popsicle mold followed by a few tablespoons of cooled Jello mixture, alternating layers until molds are filled.
  6. Insert Sticks: Insert popsicle sticks into molds if they do not come with built-in sticks.
  7. Freeze: Place molds in the freezer and allow to freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely set.
  8. Remove Pops: To release, briefly run warm water over the outside of the molds and gently pull on the sticks to remove the frozen pops.

Notes

  • For best texture, ensure pudding mixture is thick before layering.
  • Use any flavor of Jello to customize the pops to your preference.
  • Whipped topping is optional but adds extra creaminess.
  • Make sure to freeze molds thoroughly to avoid melting when removing pops.
  • Running warm water over the molds will help loosen the frozen pops without melting them.
