- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes (with juice)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil or parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Boil the bow tie pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce: Brown the Italian sausage in a skillet, then add onion, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Stir in tomatoes, cream, and seasoning. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Combine: Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce along with Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve: Garnish with herbs and extra Parmesan before serving hot.
