Ingredients
Scale
Fruits
- 2 bananas
- 5 strawberries
- 10 small grapes (or mini marshmallows)
Other Ingredients
- 10 small pretzel sticks
- 1 small carrot stick, cut into small triangles
- 1 tablespoon mini chocolate chips
- Skewers or popsicle sticks
Instructions
- Slice the fruits: Slice the bananas into 1/2-inch rounds. Remove the green tops from the strawberries and cut them in half lengthwise.
- Assemble the base: Take a skewer and run it through three banana slices, stacking them vertically to form the snowman’s body. Then, place a piece of strawberry on top followed by a mini marshmallow or a small grape to form the head.
- Add the arms: Break each pretzel stick in half, then gently press the pretzel halves into the center banana slice on either side to create the snowman’s arms.
- Decorate the snowman: Use the small carrot triangles as the snowman’s nose and press mini chocolate chips into the top banana slice to create the eyes and onto the banana slices below to form buttons.
- Serve immediately: Present these festive snowmen snacks right away to ensure freshness and maintain the crispness of the pretzels and fruits.
Notes
- Substitute mini marshmallows for grapes to keep the snack vegetarian-friendly.
- Use fresh, firm bananas to prevent mushiness and ensure easy assembly.
- Prepare the carrot triangles ahead of time for faster assembly.
- Serve immediately to avoid the bananas browning and pretzels becoming soggy.
- This recipe is perfect for kids to assemble, making it a fun holiday activity.
