Description

  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes

Breading:

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cheese: Pat the mozzarella cubes dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  2. Set Up Breading Station: In three separate bowls, set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with seasonings.
  3. Bread the Cheese: Dredge each cheese cube in flour, dip in egg, coat with breadcrumbs, and repeat for a double coating.
  4. Freeze the Cheese Bites: Place the coated cheese bites on a baking sheet and freeze for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Fry the Cheese Bites: Heat vegetable oil, fry the cheese bites until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Drain and Serve: Use a slotted spoon to remove the bites, drain on paper towels, and serve immediately with marinara sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, mix grated Parmesan into the breadcrumbs.
