Description

Easter Bunny Bait is a delightful snack mix perfect for spring gatherings and Easter celebrations. This colorful and sweet treat features a combination of popcorn, cereal, pretzels, candies, and white chocolate, creating a festive and delicious snack that both kids and adults will enjoy.

Ingredients

Scale

Popcorn Mix:

  • 5 cups popped popcorn (plain or lightly salted)
  • 2 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 cup mini pretzels
  • 1 cup pastel-colored M&M’s
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup pastel sprinkles
  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips or white candy melts

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Popcorn Mix: Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, combine the popcorn, Rice Chex, pretzels, M&M’s, marshmallows, and sprinkles.
  2. Melt the White Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips or candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Pour the melted chocolate over the popcorn mixture and toss gently to coat everything evenly.
  3. Set and Serve: Spread the mixture out onto the prepared baking sheet and allow it to set at room temperature for about 20 to 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm. Once set, break into clusters and store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • Customize with your favorite Easter candies or add colored candy-coated sunflower seeds for extra crunch.
  • This makes a great holiday treat for kids’ parties or edible gifts in cellophane bags.
