Ingredients
Scale
Gnocchi
- 1 lb shelf-stable potato gnocchi
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
To Serve (Optional)
- Grated Parmesan
- Chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes to ensure it’s hot and ready for optimal crisping of the gnocchi.
- Coat Gnocchi: In a large bowl, toss the gnocchi with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika (if using), salt, and pepper until all pieces are evenly coated with the seasoning and oil.
- Arrange in Basket: Place the seasoned gnocchi in the air fryer basket in a single layer. If necessary, work in batches to avoid overcrowding, which helps achieve maximum crispness.
- Air Fry: Cook the gnocchi for 10–12 minutes at 400°F, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to encourage even browning and crisping on all sides.
- Serve: Once the gnocchi are golden brown and crispy on the outside, serve hot. Optionally, sprinkle with grated Parmesan and chopped parsley for extra flavor and garnish.
Notes
- No need to boil the gnocchi; use them straight from the package to save time.
- For extra flavor, toss with pesto, marinara, or melted butter after air frying.
- Best served fresh and crispy immediately after cooking for optimal texture.
