12 ounces spaghetti;
Ground Beef Mixture:
1 tablespoon olive oil; 1 pound ground beef; 1 small yellow onion, finely chopped; 3 cloves garlic, minced; 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning; 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional); 1/2 teaspoon salt; 1/4 teaspoon black pepper; 1 (24-ounce) jar marinara sauce;
Creamy Sauce:
1/2 cup heavy cream; 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese; 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (plus more for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook Spaghetti: Boil spaghetti until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Prepare Ground Beef Mixture: Brown ground beef in olive oil. Add onion, garlic, seasoning, pepper, and salt. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer.
- Make Creamy Sauce: Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese to the beef mixture. Toss in cooked spaghetti and parsley.
