For the beans:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (15 oz) can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (15 oz) can pork and beans, undrained
For the sauce:
- ½ cup barbecue sauce
- ¼ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Cook the beef: In the same skillet, cook the ground beef and onion until beef is browned. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Mix ingredients: In a bowl, combine the beef mixture with all beans, sauces, and seasonings. Transfer to a baking dish.
- Bake: Top with cooked bacon and bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes until bubbly.
- Serve: Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
