- 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
Baking Solution:
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- 4 cups water
Cinnamon Sugar Coating:
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Additional:
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Coarse sea salt (optional, for sprinkling)
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare Baking Solution: In a medium pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil and stir in the baking soda.
- Prep Dough: Unroll the pizza dough and cut it into 1-inch wide strips. Twist each strip slightly.
- Dip and Bake: Dip the dough strips into the baking soda water, then bake until golden brown.
- Coat and Serve: Brush baked pretzels with melted butter, roll in cinnamon sugar, and add sea salt if desired. Serve warm.
