Description

This no-bake Chocolate Lasagna is a luscious layered dessert combining a crunchy Oreo crust, creamy cheesecake, fluffy whipped topping, and rich chocolate pudding. Perfect for easy entertaining, it requires no baking and comes together in just 30 minutes, making it a delicious and convenient treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Crust

  • 14.3 oz pack of Oreos (or 405 grams)
  • 6 Tbsp unsalted butter (melted)

Cheesecake Layer

  • 12 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cool whip (refrigerated whipped topping)

Pudding Layer

  • 7.8 oz instant chocolate pudding (two 3.9 oz packages)
  • 3 1/4 cups cold whole milk

Topping

  • 8 oz cool whip (refrigerated whipped topping)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs, then mix with the melted unsalted butter until well combined. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan to form the crust. Refrigerate to set while preparing the next layers.
  2. Make the Cheesecake Layer: In a large bowl, beat the room temperature cream cheese until smooth. Add in the vanilla extract and powdered sugar, mixing until combined. Gently fold in 8 oz of cool whip to create a light and creamy layer. Spread this mixture evenly over the chilled Oreo crust, then return the pan to the refrigerator.
  3. Prepare the Pudding Layer: In another bowl, beat the instant chocolate pudding mix with the cold whole milk until the pudding thickens according to package directions.
  4. Assemble the Pudding Layer: Spread the prepared chocolate pudding evenly over the cheesecake layer in the pan.
  5. Add the Final Topping: Top the pudding layer with the remaining 8 oz of cool whip, spreading it evenly for a smooth finish.
  6. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the entire dessert for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight, allowing all layers to set properly. Once set, cut into 16 squares and serve chilled for a creamy, indulgent experience.

Notes

  • Use room temperature cream cheese for a smoother cheesecake layer without lumps.
  • For a lighter crust, you can substitute half the Oreos with golden Oreos.
  • Make sure the pudding mix and milk are cold to help the pudding set quickly and firm up properly.
  • This dessert keeps well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For an extra touch, garnish with chocolate shavings or crushed Oreos before serving.
