Lasagna:

  • 9 lasagna noodles

Chicken Mixture:

  • 3 cups cooked chicken (shredded)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Cheese Mixture:

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg

Other:

  • 3 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prep: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Cook lasagna noodles, then set aside.
  2. Cook Chicken Mixture: Sauté garlic in olive oil, add shredded chicken, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  3. Mix Cheese: Combine ricotta cheese, egg, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
  4. Layer: Spread Alfredo sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella. Repeat layering. Finish with Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  5. Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 10–15 minutes more until golden. Rest before serving. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for a quick prep shortcut.
  • For added flavor, mix spinach into the ricotta layer or use homemade Alfredo sauce.
