Ingredients
Scale
Steak Bites
- 1 1/2 pounds sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- salt to taste
Garlic Butter Sauce
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Season the Steak: Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels and place them in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with Cajun seasoning and black pepper, and toss to coat evenly.
- Sear the Steak Bites: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned steak bites in a single layer (work in batches if necessary). Sear for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- Prepare Garlic Butter Sauce: Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, add the butter and minced garlic. Stir for 1–2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant and lightly golden.
- Toss Steak in Garlic Butter: Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat them evenly in the garlic butter. Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes to blend the flavors.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
- For added flavor, squeeze a bit of fresh lemon juice over the steak just before serving.
- These bites pair wonderfully with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables.
